Business Guidance

The South West Sydney Business Advisory Service is a free service providing guidance and support to small business owners and intenders. No matter if you are considering going into business, starting a new venture or an existing small business operator, our service is available to you.

The South West Business Advisory Service is a free service funded by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development since 2004.

In 2008, the Commonwealth of Australia represented by the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research provided additional funding as part of $42m funding of selected BEC’s throughout Australia, to extend the service currently provided.

Legal and Financial

As a part of the Federal Governments initiative, the Macarthur BEC is pleased to offer Small Business Operators access to inexpensive professional legal and financial advice.

Via our Business Advisory Service, clients who qualify are referred to our Member listing to choose their service provider. Professional advice is provided on an hourly basis of up to 5 hours in total. Contact our Business Advisory Service for more details.

Business Mentoring - Environmental

Symmetry Sustainable Business, in partnership with the Macarthur Business Enterprise Centre, Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living, University of Western Sydney and MACROC delivers a program of Small Business Mentoring to assist small business to improve environmental practices while saving costs. Symmetry is an ideal service where modified practices, cost savings and recognition of accreditation can be of great value to your business and the environment.

Business Development

Business Development Programs run throughout the year, providing effective training for business operators.

The Macarthur BEC Seminar Series are either free or low cost information seminars providing valuable information on various topics in business.
